Gaynor Cup team U16
The team did really well losing their first game 4.2 to Cork who went on to win the competition. The only other team to defeat Galway were Waterford who went on to win the plate competition. Galway had victories over , Tipperary, Clare and Donegal. The team were a credit to themselves, their families, clubs and Galway. Great credit also due to Kevin Cassidy and Sinead Mc Donagh and special thanks to the parents for their support and especially to The Bean an Ti’s and those who provided transport.
